“Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.”— Louis L’Amour

A short hello.
It seems that life has caught up on me these past few months; now writing a line or two has been an uphill battle for me to accomplish. And this is right after I declared and proudly said to everyone that I loved scribbling my thoughts and weaving them for others to read. So much for maintaining a certain passion, yes?
I've gone through every entry I have ever written and realized that I was extremely in the zone to write when I was at the lowest point of my life. Maybe the line, "The best stories always end in tragedy" was too embedded in my system that it became the only way to make me spit beautiful paragraphs to make my entries.
And I wish to change that.
I am at a point in my life where I feel more accomplished and fulfilled. But that should not hinder me from writing great stories and instead of ending in heartbreaks or tragedies or being left behind, maybe this time I can start having stories where I ACTUALLY WIN.
Clearly, as the year ends, I will be in my 30's and quite frankly, it's a scary thought. It makes me wonder if I've done what I said I would a decade ago. But the possibilities also excite me to think that I will be facing a different chapter in my life. One that involves more happiness, more passion, and again, more love-- minus the heartbreak this time.
As I end this piece, I will make a commitment.
I will do what I love but made excuses not to pursue.
I will start writing again.
